LionFish is a Salt Lake City-based band blending original rock, blues, and Americana with soulful songwriting and an energetic live performance.

Founded in 2008 by guitarist and songwriter Derrek Wright, LionFish has performed throughout Utah and the Pacific Northwest, developing a sound that draws on classic rock, blues, and Latin influences.

The band's original music includes Heartbeat, Grifters Ball, and the 2026 EP And So It Goes.

From intimate venues to festival stages, LionFish delivers music with heart, groove, and a little grit.
